This is a new idea I've been playing around with for about a month...they don't totally look like antlers yet..but I think they're a pretty good start!
I'm still trying to get comfortable with my lovely little blog here and i decided it was time for a change of scenery. Nothing too drastic I don't think. Any thoughts you guys?
Hey guys! I just uploaded some cute new cards onto my Etsy shop! Each is a set of 10 cards and envelopes. The first are my lovely Hello cards. Each has the word hello and some intricate watercolor and pen flowers. The second are my Poppy cards. I hand carved a stamp for those bad boys and stamped each one uniquely and then watercolored them to give um a lil more flavor. All of these cards took ALOT of time and effort to get done and I'm so glad they're finally up! Go and check um out :) either by using the shop tab up top or checking out my Etsy shop here:
I was so determined to keep it up every day! And while this is no excuse, I was indeed sick and I think that took a toll on me. Again, no excuse!!!
So an update eh? Well I've been feeling increasingly creative lately. I think it's because february is changing over to march soon and with that comes the promise of spring!
I am not an outdoorsy type girl BY ANY MEANS. But spring? It just makes me think of rebirth and wonderfully colored flowers. Ok I'll be honest, the flowers are my favorite part. Even with all the horrible sneezy pollen floating around, the wonderful colors and textures of flowers make me all giddy inside :) {It helps that my mother has some GORGEOUS peonies planted in our back yard}.
One of my personal goals in life is to have a mini green house in my home so I can look at pretty flowers all year long. Even in the dead of winter when all is leafless and white, I can go look at my lovely little indoor greenhouse and feel refreshed and renewed. Besides that, my house shall be fully covered in lovely plants all the time.
This post has greatly deviated from where it started from and as I have a crap ton of math to get done I shall leave u here.
In regards to the future, I'm going to be posting some pics of stuff I'm getting ready to put into my etsy shop for spring, as well as some interviews with my artist friends. So stay tuned!
Probably not the best flowers out there but I need a lot really quick and these little paper flowers are super quick and SUPER easy. I'm hoping to post a tutorial of them on here soon, once I perfect them. :)
So for the longest time I have wanted to post everyday. And I think I've finally figured out a way I can! I'm going to post every day what I'm doing. My little "Today I...". This one is from yesterday. But I'm going to try and post an image every day showing u guys what I'm up to today. And some days I might even do a full post! I hope this works and that u guys enjoy it!
