Door County WI

So for the past five days I have been in Door County WI with my grandparents and my son. It's a trip that we truly enjoy taking. My grandmother and I go on bike rides with my son in a cart behind us, and eat at fantastic restaurants all around the bay. We have so much fun just doing whatever we want and being together.
Being here has really inspired me creatively as well. Door County has a different feel than anywhere else I’ve been to. In the towns you feel the slight hustle and bustle that you feel in the city. However, it’s not so city crazy. Surrounded by artists and studios all around, these shops all have a very artsy feel. The clothes for sale are bright and flawy and wonderful. Jewelry can range from sleek and modern to blown flowers and delicate leaves. These towns are sort of a city boutique feel.There’s one store in particular that I am absolutely crazy about, Papel.
Papel is in a little red building in Door County’s egg harbor. Owned by a sweet little couple and their new daughter papel is any paper lovers heaven. I’m absolutely furious that I didn’t take any photos of the building to post here, but I’ll have some photos up of the goodies I purchased tomorrow. Needless to say, I majorly splurged.
Since my camera software isn't working at the moment I can’t show you guys the beauty that is Door County through my eyes. Hopefully I’ll be able to figure that out soon, in the meantime take comfort in the fact that I have been thoroughly inspired and have oodles of ideas to get out and up on here.
