The poster you see above is one that is hanging in my room right next to my mirror. I saw this idea on pinterest, I believe, ages ago. It's a great reminder for me to take at least one chance a day.

  I know how scary taking chances can be, believe me. Wether it be talking to someone new, trying out a new coffee shop, or painting over something to try and get a new effect that could totally ruin an entire piece, chances scare the absolute crap out of me. And those are just little chances! Eventually I'll be faced with big chances like switching jobs or quitting my job to pursue art or moving cross country! Lord only knows how I'll react when it comes time for those chances. 

  But I do know this, when I let a chance pass me up, I ALWAYS regret it. No matter if it was little or big, I regret it. So now I constantly try to take as many chances as I possibly can without going completely bonkers. Even if things don't turn out they way I wanted or the way they were supposed to, at least I took that leap of faith. If you don't do that then you have no way of knowing if you'll succeed or fail.
