In the past year I have become extremely interested in illustration, children's illustrations to be more specific. I love the tiny characters and the bright colors and how everything is spur bright, yet so soft all at once. I've been working on creating a cast of characters and story line to make a children's book with. This little sketch is something I did while messing around with my watercolors the other day. I was working on flowers and all of a sudden I drew this little girl, the rest formed around her. While defiantly not perfect, I actually really enjoy how tiny and sweet this scene is. A little girl saving a turtle from being smushed by cars during a rainstorm. So simple yet so sweet.
